When I started this page in September 1997, it was the only page of its kind on the web - if not the only guide to Southport, then definitely the only one aimed at us hip young things that frequented the town instead of being about the flower show, golf or our lovely promenades.

It's nearly five years since I lived in the town though now and about two and a half years since I've updated the page... so, you know, I think it is time it should go. Plus, the pop-ups really bug me.
